Cruise Control Systems: Description

The automatic cruise control system consists of the control unit, selector lever and cruise control actuator. The control unit controls vehicle speed based on signals received from the speedometer, automatic transmission or clutch switch (as equipped), range switch, brake light switch, cruise control switch and cruise control actuator.
