Active Check Control

With ignition switch in "ON" position, active check control alarm indicator flashes and BRAKE LIGHTS indicator illuminates for test purposes. With ignition on, fault monitoring begins. To monitor low beams, rear lights or license lights, circuits must be in use.

Brake lights are monitored only while brake pedal is depressed. If a fault occurs, alarm indicator flashes appropriate LED indicator lights and panel light illuminates for 5 seconds. Depressing "TEST" button will clear alarm indicator while LED fault indicator remains on. To test unit, depress "TEST" button. LED fault indicators and panel lights should illuminate.
