Steering Column: Installation

To install, reverse removal procedure. Ensure wheels are in straight-ahead position. Ignition switch must be in "O" position when installed.

1. To install, reverse removal procedure. Prior to tightening clamp bolt, ensure that distance from centerline of clamp bolt to end of upper outer tube is between 2.05-2.16" (52-55 mm).
2. Ensure that wheels are in a straight-ahead position. Aligning upper and lower steering shaft marks, tighten adjusting nut.
