Instrument Panel - Standard: Description: Notes

All BMW instrument clusters have speedometer, tachometer, fuel gauge and temperature gauge. Headlight switch is mounted on the instrument panel. High beam, turn signals and wiper switch are mounted on steering column.

On some models, active check control panel is mounted at the lower left side of instrument panel while others are mounted above rear view mirror. Gauges use variable resistance sending units. No voltage limiter is used.
