Piston & Rod Assembly: Removal

After removing oil pan and cylinder head, rotate crankshaft to TDC of piston and rod assembly to be removed. Unscrew connecting rod cap nuts and push assembly out top of engine. Replace worn or damaged parts as necessary, according to appropriate service procedure indicated in this article.
