Steering Wheel: Removal

Center steering with wheels in straight-ahead position. Remove cover from center of steering wheel.

NOTE: Model 1600-2 cover is retained by screws at underside of wheel.

On other models, a rod inserted into hole beneath cover at side of wheel hub, may be used to remove cover from wheel. Mark steering wheel and shaft for reference and remove wheel.
