Only select labor operations are described in this repair information. The following applies for labor operations that are not described: Separate the original joint and re-create it with the replacement part. Repairs using methods that differ from the original manufacturing process are described.

If sub-parts are delivered, fit them and butt weld them using a gas-shielded arc continuous weld seam.

Follow the information in the Body Collision General repair information.

Welding and sanding must always be performed with an evacuation system.

Never weld and sand in any area at the same time.

Clean the work area regularly depending on the amount of dust.

Accumulated dust must not be blown away with compressed air.

The evacuation system must be cleaned regularly.

At the same time pay attention to the corresponding country-specific legislation.
