Bonded Joints: Notes
The body of the Audi Q8 features bonded joints and spot-welded bonded joints for increased rigidity and strength.
NOTE:
For large parts, for example the roof, a second technician must be used to perform the work or else the adhesive will dry before the end of the procedure.
After a work interruptions of up to 30 minutes, press out an adhesive bead about 100 mm long so that new material is mixed.
After a work interruptions of over 30 minutes, replace the mixing nozzle and press out a 100 mm long adhesive bead.
If more cartridges are needed for a repair, these can be treated with a mixing nozzle.
