Digital Sound System Control Module -J525-, REMOVING AND INSTALLING: Removing

If the control module is replaced, the test plan to replace the control module must be performed.

-- Perform the "control module, replacing" function using the Vehicle Diagnostic Tester. Refer to DIAGNOSTIC ENTRY .

-- Remove the footwell cover on the front passenger side. Refer to OVERVIEW - GLOVE COMPARTMENT .

-- Remove the front passenger side A-pillar lower trim panel. Refer to A-PILLAR TRIM PANEL, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Lift up/fold over the carpet in the front passenger footwell.

-- Remove the nuts -2-.

-- Disconnect the connectors -4-.

-- Remove the bolts -5-.

-- Remove the Digital Sound System Control Module -J525- -3-.

Remove the control module bracket
