Engine, Supporting In Installation Position

Procedure

CAUTION:

Risk of injury due to the engine weight shifting.

Parts of the body could be crushed.

- Only support the engine when the transmission and tunnel crossmember are removed.

-- Install the engine cover and heat shield. Refer to ENGINE COVER .

-- Remove the left and right cover for the fender. Refer to OVERVIEW - FENDER .

-- Position the :10-222A at the left and right side on the fender bolting edges.

-- Engage the :10-222A/11 at the left and right on the engine lifting eyes.

-- Tension the engine with the spindles slightly until the engine mount is not under a load. (shown on a 3.0L engine).

Assembling

Assemble in the reverse order of removal. Note the following:

-- Install the heat shield and engine cover. Refer to ENGINE COVER .
