Seat Belt Latch, Checking
-- Insert the belt tongue into the seat belt latch until it clicks into place. Check if the locking mechanism is latched correctly by pulling firmly on the belt webbing.
- Perform the check at least five times. If the buckle tongue fails to latch correctly in the seat belt latch even just one time, replace the entire seat belt with the seat belt latch.
Release, Checking

- Perform the check at least five times. If the belt tongue fails to spring out even just one of the times, replace the entire seat belt with the seat belt latch.
CAUTION:
A malfunctioning seat belt increases the risk of injury.
