4. Display in Instrument Cluster, Checking

Test step 4.1

• Drive ready mode is active, drive position in "P", foot brake not pressed.

-- Move the shifter in the direction of "D" or "R" :

The following message must appear in the instrument cluster: "Press brake pedal to select a gear".

Test step 4.2

• Drive ready mode is active, drive position in "N", vehicle is stationary.

-- End drive ready mode and open the driver door:

Drive position "N" must remain engaged.

The following message must be shown in the instrument cluster: "Before leaving engage P, otherwise the vehicle can roll". The warning tone must also sound.
