Information Electronics Control Module 1 -J794-, REMOVING AND INSTALLING: Installing

Install in reverse order of removal and note the following:

-- First insert the Information Electronics Control Module 1 -J794- into the bracket until it engages.

-- Connect all connectors.

-- Engage the rear bracket -2- (refer to -3-) and secure with three screws.

If the Information Electronics Control Module 1 - J794- is replaced, the following procedure applies:

-- Connect the Vehicle Diagnostic Tester.

Replacing the Information Electronics Control Module 1 -J794-

-- Select the Diagnostic  mode and start the diagnosis.

-- Select the Test plan  tab.

-- Select the Select individual test  button and select the following tree structure consecutively:

• Diagnostic-capable systems
• 005F - Information Electronics Control Module 1 - J794
• 005F - Information Electronics Control Module 1, functions
• 005F - Replace control module -J794
