Snow Screen, Cleaning

Removal Procedures:

-- Remove the expanding clips -2- from the front end cover; first remove the expanding pin from the expanding clip to do so.

-- Remove the front end cover -1- toward the rear from the radiator grille.

-- Remove the intake air duct for the air filter. Refer to the appropriate service information .

Procedure: 

-- Remove the snow screen -1- and blow it out with compressed air.

-- Remove tough dirt with a blunt object.

-- Replace the snow screen if damaged.

Installation procedures occur in reverse order. Note the following:

-- Push the expanding clip in the specified hole and then lock with the expanding pin.
