Overview - Windshield Projection (Head-Up Display)

The overview shows a LHD vehicle as an example. For RHD vehicles the layout is a mirror image.

1. Exterior Bracket
   • For the windshield projection control module
   • Removing and Installing. Refer to OUTER BRACKET, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
2. Nut
   • Quantity: 3
   • 8 Nm
3. Windshield Projection Head Up Display Control Module -J898-
   • Removing and Installing. Refer to WINDSHIELD PROJECTION HEAD UP DISPLAY CONTROL MODULE, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
   • Calibrating. Refer to WINDSHIELD PROJECTION HEAD UP DISPLAY CONTROL MODULE, CALIBRATING .
4. Bolt
   • Replace after removing
   • Quantity: 2
   • Tightening sequence. Refer to Fig 2.
5. Expanding Rivet
   • For air duct channel
6. Air Duct
   • For the windshield projection control module
7. Instrument Panel
8. Clip
9. Upper Cover
   • Removing and Installing. Refer to WINDSHIELD PROJECTION HEAD UP DISPLAY CONTROL MODULE, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
10. Expanding Rivet
    • For air duct channel
11. Bolt
    • Tightening Specifications and Sequence. Refer to Fig 2.
12. Bolt
    • Replace after removing
    • Quantity: 2
    • Tightening Specifications and Sequence. Refer to Fig 2.
13. Central Tube
14. Nut
    • Quantity: 3
    • 8 Nm
15. Interior Bracket
    • For the windshield projection control module
    • Removing and Installing. Refer to INNER BRACKET, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
