Outer Seal, Installing

-- Fill the space between the sealing and dust lip -arrow- halfway with Sealing Grease: G 052 128 A1 on the new seal.

-- Lightly oil the outer edge of the new seal.

-- install the seal.

Inner Seal, Installing

-- Fill the space between the sealing and dust lip -arrow- halfway with Sealing Grease: G 052 128 A1 on the new seal.

-- Lightly oil the outer edge of the new seal.

-- Install the seal until it stops.

-- Carefully drive the stub shaft in as far as the stop using a plastic hammer.

-- Install a new circlip -1- on the stub shaft.

-- Install the bevel box. Refer to BEVEL BOX, INSTALLING .

-- Check the gear oil in the bevel box. Refer to GEAR OIL, CHECKING LEVEL .
