Transmission Mount, Removing And Installing: Installing

Install in the reverse order of removal while noting the following:

-- Install the transmission mount on the longitudinal member.

• Before installing the bolts, the transmission support and the transmission mount support arm must be absolutely parallel to each other. If necessary, raise rear of transmission with a floor jack.

-- Lift the transmission by the engine support bridge spindle until transmission support touches transmission mount support arm.

-- Insert the bolts by hand; while doing so, make sure that they are not inserted at an angle.

-- Check the assembly mount adjustment. Refer to ASSEMBLY MOUNT, CHECKING ADJUSTMENT .

-- Remove the :10-222A  from the engine.

-- Install the battery tray. Refer to BATTERY TRAY, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
