Service Disconnect, Check For Contamination And Damage

Hybrid vehicles have a high-voltage system with a very high voltage. Risk of electrocution. Note the safety precautions!
- All work on vehicles with a high-voltage system may only be performed by technicians that are certified as "technicians trained in electrical systems".
- Contact to the responsible high-voltage technician or expert if something needs clarification.
The high-voltage system maintenance connector (service disconnect) is located in the engine/motor compartment -2-.

- Remove the left headlamp cover. Refer to OVERVIEW - BUMPER COVER .

The High-Voltage System Maintenance Connector must not show any damage during the inspection.
