The engine control module is equipped with OBD. Check the DTC memory first before repairs as well as for Fault Finding. The vacuum hoses and connections must also be checked (unmetered air).
For the electric components to function correctly, a voltage of at least 11.5 volts is required.
Do not use sealants containing silicone. Particles of silicone components that are drawn into the engine are not burned there, and they damage the heated oxygen sensors.
The vehicles have an emergency fuel shut-off. It reduces the risk of fire in an accident because the fuel pump relay switches the fuel pump off.
At the same time this setup also makes it easier to start the engine. When the driver-side door is opened, the fuel pump is activated for two seconds so that pressure builds in the fuel system. Observe the safety precautions. Refer to SAFETY PRECAUTIONS WHEN WORKING ON FUEL SUPPLY SYSTEM .
