Removal And Installation

    NOTE: If installing a new module, it is necessary to upload the module configuration information to the scan tool prior to removing the module. This information must be downloaded into the new module after installation.

    Using a diagnostic scan tool, begin the Programmable Module Installation (PMI) process for the Audio Front Control Module (ACM) following the on-screen instructions.

    Remove the Front Controls Interface Module (FCIM). Refer to Front Controls Interface Module (FCIM) .

    Remove the 4 screws and the ACM.
    • Disconnect the electrical connectors and the antenna cable connector(s).
    • To install, tighten to 2.5 Nm (23 lb-in).

  1. 4.

    To install, reverse the removal procedure.
    • Using a diagnostic scan tool, complete the Programmable Module Installation (PMI) process for the ACM following the on-screen instructions.
