PINPOINT TEST K : The ACM Does Not Respond To The Diagnostic Scan Tool: Notes

Normal Operation and Fault Conditions

For vehicles equipped with the base audio system, the ACM communicates with the diagnostic scan tool through the MS-CAN.

For vehicles equipped with SYNC, the ACM communicates with the diagnostic scan tool through the HS-CAN. The IPC is used as the gateway module between the I-CAN and the HS-CAN.

Visual Inspection and Diagnostic Pre-checks

Verify BCM fuse 29 (20A) is OK.
