Emissions Control Module, Removing And Installing: Notes
The emissions control module is among other things attached to the engine with four lifters. These lifters outside have left-hand threads. When bolting the bolt -1- takes up the lifter -2- due to the friction on the guides -3-. Via the left threads the lifter and the bolt head move opposite, despite turning the bolt clockwise from which the play between the components is adjusted. The lifter must be easily tunable on its left threads otherwise the guides on the bolt do not bring enough friction to take up the lifter. Do not use any lubricants in the guides, so that the friction is not reduced.
