Multimedia System Control Head -E380- In Instrument Panel, Removing And Installing: Removing

The Multimedia System Control Head -E380- can be removed when separated from the mount. The Multimedia System Control Head -E380- can be unclipped from the mount using the :3409  .

Multimedia System Control Head -E380- Removal

-- Turn off the ignition and all electrical equipment and remove the ignition key.

-- Push the Multimedia System Control Head -E380- -1- out of the mount using the :3409  at the Left & Right.

-- Release and disconnect the connector from the Multimedia System Control Head -E380- -1-.

Multimedia System Control Head -E380- Mount Removal

-- Remove the vents in the center of the instrument panel. Refer to OVERVIEW - INSTRUMENT PANEL .

-- Remove the screws -2 and 3- behind the vents.

-- Pry the mount -1- out of the instrument panel in the direction of -arrow-.

To do this, the springs must be released using a small screwdriver through the vent openings.

-- Press the springs -1- with a small screw driver -2- and push out the mount upward.

-- Release and disconnect the connector from the Multimedia System Control Head -E380- if still installed.
