A/C Compressor Input Shaft, Removing And Installing: Installing

Installation is done is reverse order, observe the following:

NOTE:

Replace the damaged boot.

Secure all hose connections with hose clamps used in series production.

-- Check the input shaft -B-. The splines must show no traces of wear and must be seated free of play in the drive wheel splines -C-.

-- Prior to installation, grease the splines of input shaft -B- for example with Lubricating Grease:G 000 100  .

-- Insert the input shaft -B- before installing A/C compressor and slide it into the drive wheel -C- all the way to the stop.

-- Secure the boot -A- to the flange with the hose clamps to avoid slipping.
