Wheel Change Initialization

NOTE: If a tire or tire pressure sensor was changed, or tires rotated, the TPMS must be initialized.
NOTE: Initialization process can take up to 20 minutes. During this time, the sensors are readjusting to the new wheel/tire combination and the monitoring system is operating at reduced sensitivity. The system will only warn when tire pressure drops below the minimum permissible specified pressure (warning symbol and message will appear).
  1. Ensure air pressure in all tires (including spare tire) is properly adjusted to specification.
  2. Push RESET button until "DISPLAY TYPE" menu is shown. See Figure and Figure .
  3. Push the rocker switch on the function selector lever to select the "SET" option.
  4. Push RESET button.
  5. Push the rocker switch on the function selector lever to select "TYRE PRESSURE" option. See Figure.
  6. Push RESET button.
  7. Push the rocker switch on the function selector lever to select "WHEEL CHANGE" option. See Fig 1.
