Infotainment System Display Mechanism, Removing And Installing: Removing

-- Remove the Infotainment system display. Refer to INFOTAINMENT SYSTEM DISPLAY, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Connect the removed display back to the vehicle side connector.

-- Completely guide out the infotainment system display.

-- Package the Infotainment system display in the protective cover from the repair kit. Refer to the appropriate service information.

-- Bring the Infotainment system display into service position. Refer to INFOTAINMENT SYSTEM DISPLAY SERVICE POSITION .

-- Release and disconnect the vehicle side connector.

-- Remove the bolts -2-.

-- Remove the expanding rivets -3-.

-- Remove the collar -1- upward.

-- Release and open the clip -4- for the wiring harness -2-.

-- To do so lightly press on the rear side of the cover -1- in the area of the catch from the clip -4-.

-- Remove the bolts -arrows-.

-- Carefully pry up the rear side of the cover -1- until the bracket -3- for the wiring harness -2- is accessible from the bottom.

-- Unclip the bracket -3- for the wiring harness -2- on the bottom of the rear side of the cover -1-.

-- Pivot the rear side of the cover -1- to the side.

-- Unclip the clip -arrow- for the wiring harness -1-.

-- Release and disconnect the connector -2-.

-- Pivot the wiring harness -1- to the side.

-- Remove the bolt -2- on both sides.

-- Remove the guide rod -1- upward in the direction of the -arrow-.

-- Remove the lock washers -arrows-.
