Component Location Overview - Abs/Esp

• Can be checked in the "Guided Fault Finding". Refer to Vehicle Diagnostic Tester.
• Removing and installing. Refer to RIGHT/LEFT FRONT ABS WHEEL SPEED SENSOR -G45- / -G47-, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

• Component location: under the battery on the left side of the engine compartment
• The hydraulic unit consists of the components:
  • ABS Hydraulic Pump -V64-
• ABS Control Module -J104-
• Refer to CONTROL MODULE AND HYDRAULIC UNIT 
• Refer to CONTROL MODULE, SEPARATING FROM HYDRAULIC UNIT 

With integrated Brake Pressure Sensor 1 -G201-

With integrated Transverse Acceleration Sensor -G200-

With integrated Rotation Rate Sensor:G202 

With integrated Longitudinal Acceleration Sensor:G251 

With integrated Electromechanical Parking Brake Control Module -J540-.

The components cannot be changed individually or removed.

• Component location: on the hydraulic unit under the battery on the left side of the engine compartment
• Do not disconnect the connector before successfully completing OBD. Switch off the ignition before disconnecting the connector
• Refer to ABS Control Module -J104- WITH ABS Hydraulic Unit -N55-, REMOVING AND INSTALLING 
• Refer to CONTROL MODULE, SEPARATING FROM HYDRAULIC UNIT 

• Refer to RIGHT/LEFT FRONT ABS WHEEL SPEED SENSOR -G45- / -G47-, REMOVING AND INSTALLING

The Electromechanical Parking Brake Control Module -- is installed in the ABS Control Module -J104-.

• Installed together with Transverse Acceleration Sensor -G200-, Rotation Rate Sensor -G202- and Longitudinal Acceleration Sensor -G251- in the ABS Control Module --.

  If the ABS Control Module -J104- /ABS Hydraulic Unit -N55- is being replaced, select the "Replace" function for the ABS Control Module -J104- /ABS Hydraulic Unit -N55- on the Vehicle Diagnostic Tester, Guided Functions  .

• Can be checked in "Guided Fault Finding". Refer to Vehicle Diagnostic Tester.
