Windshield Spray Pattern, Three-Stream Nozzles, Checking
The spray pattern must meet the following specifications:
- An evenly distributed, symmetrical spray pattern
- Even, precise spray jets
- Front passenger side spray nozzle unit: All spray jet points of impact are in the upper third of the wiper area -illustration-.
- Driver side spray nozzle unit: Spray pattern is a mirror image of the front passenger side spray nozzle unit
Procedure:
-- Activate the windshield washer system and assess the spray pattern.
-- If the spray pattern does not meet the specifications, adjust the spray nozzles. Refer to WINDSHIELD SPRAY NOZZLES, ADJUSTING, THREE-STREAM NOZZLES .
