6.3L FSI: Installing

-- Install new spark plugs.

-- Lubricate the ignition coils. Refer to IGNITION COILS, LUBRICATING .

-- Align the ignition coils -2- to the openings -1- in the cylinder head cover, as shown in the illustration below.

-- Press ignition coils by hand onto spark plugs (do not use a hammer under any circumstances).

Installation is the reverse of removal.

-- Install the intake manifold. Refer to the appropriate service information .
