Fig 1: Identifying Attachments -1-, Bolts -2 To 4-, Lock Carrier, Guide Pins T10093 And Longitudinal Members -Arrow B-
-- Slide the lock carrier on the Guide Pins :T10093 onto the longitudinal members -arrow b-.
-- Install bolts -2, 3 and 4-.
-- Align the lock carrier and its attachments -1- on the longitudinal members and between the fenders. Refer to the appropriate service information.
-- Tightening specification for bolts -2- : 8 Nm
-- Tightening specification for bolts -3- : 60 Nm
-- Tightening specification for bolts -4- : 8 Nm
Installation is performed in reverse order of the removal.
NOTE:
Information regarding the distance regulation control modules -5-. Refer to Adaptive Cruise Control .
Make sure the charge air cooler pressure hoses are attached securely. Refer to COUPLING, LOCKING .
The hoses and lines must not be pinched.
