Outer Window Shaft Strip, Removing And Installing: Installing
Install in reverse order of removal. Note the following:
-- Position the window shaft strip -1- on the door fold as illustrated above.
-- Push the window shaft strip forward in direction of -arrow A-. While doing this, the guide -7- for the molded part -2- must be pushed into the mount on the B-pillar -arrow B-.
-- Insert the "rubber nose" -4- into the guide in the B-pillar trim -3- and press the retainers -5- and -6- onto the door panel.
-- Press the window shaft strip -1- evenly in direction of -arrows A- so that the strip -2- audibly engages.
- The retaining strip must fit -arrow- under the retaining plate -3-.
