Ribbed Belt
- Check for wear
- Removing and installing. Refer to Cylinder Block, Belt Pulley Side [For engine(s) CTGE, CWUC] , Cylinder Block, Belt Pulley Side [For engine(s) CPNB] , or CYLINDER BLOCK, BELT PULLEY SIDE [For engine(s) CREC, CREH] .
- Mark the rotation direction, install on correct side. Refer to Cylinder Block, Belt Pulley Side [For engine(s) CTGE, CWUC] , Cylinder Block, Belt Pulley Side [For engine(s) CPNB] , or CYLINDER BLOCK, BELT PULLEY SIDE [For engine(s) CREC, CREH] .
Belt Pulley with Overload Protection

- For the A/C compressor

A/C Compressor
- There are different versions.
- Refrigerant line, disconnecting and reconnecting. Refer to REFRIGERANT LINES, DISCONNECTING FROM COMPRESSOR AND CONNECTING, 4-CYLINDER TFSI/TDI ENGINE .
- Removing from and attaching to the bracket. Refer to A/C COMPRESSOR, REMOVING AND INSTALLING ON BRACKET, VEHICLES WITH 4-CYLINDER TDI ENGINE .
- Removing and Installing. Refer to A/C COMPRESSOR, REMOVING AND INSTALLING, 4-CYLINDER TFSI ENGINE .
  NOTE:
  There are different versions depending on the refrigerant (R134a or R1234yf).
Low Pressure Side Refrigerant Line
Bolt
- M6 9 Nm
- M8 25 Nm
O-Ring Seal
- Replacing. For the correct version.
- Coat with refrigerant oil before installing. Refer to REFRIGERANT CIRCUIT SEALS .
O-Ring Seal
- Replacing. For the correct version.
- Coat with refrigerant oil before installing. Refer to REFRIGERANT CIRCUIT SEALS .

- M6 9 Nm

High Pressure Side Refrigerant Line
A/C Compressor Regulator Valve -N280-
- To check, use the Vehicle Diagnostic Tester in the "Guided Fault Finding" function an. Refer to the Appropriate Wiring Diagram.

- Replace after removing.
