Towing Notes

CAUTION:

Towing the vehicle incorrectly can lead to transmission damage.

Position the selector lever in the N position.
Do not tow further than 50 km (31 miles).
Do not tow faster than 50 km/h (31 mph).

NOTE:

Tow-starting the engine, for example when the battery is too weak or the starter is defective, is not possible.

If the battery has been disconnected or is discharged and the vehicle must be towed, it will be necessary to push the shift mechanism emergency release to shift the selector lever from "P" to "N", refer to EMERGENCY RELEASE FROM P .
