Infotainment System Display, Removing And Installing: Removing
-- Turn off the ignition and all electrical equipment and remove the ignition key.
-- Remove the instrument panel vent in the center. Refer to CENTER INSTRUMENT PANEL VENT, REMOVING AND INSTALLING (do not disconnect the connector).
-- Remove the display support -1- bolt -2- in the center behind the instrument panel vent.
The display support -1- has two spring tabs -3- on the rear side as well as two spring tabs -2- on the front side.
The display with the display support -1- must be lifted slightly at the front first, so that the spring tabs -2- can be released.
-- Using the Trim Removal Wedge:3409 , pry the display support -1- slightly out of the instrument panel -2- at the front in direction of -arrow A-.
-- Use a small screwdriver to press the spring tabs in direction of -arrow B- together and lift the display support -1- out of the instrument panel -2- in direction of -arrow A-.
-- Release and disconnect the connectors from the display.
-- Unclip the display wiring harness on the display support and remove the display support -1-.
-- Unclip the front trim -1- from the display.
-- Unclip the left and right side trim pieces -3- from the rear trim -2- on the display.
-- Unclip the rear trim -2- on the display and remove upward.
-- Remove the bolts -5- and then remove the display -4- from the display support -6-.
