Navigation System Overview, Japan, Through 10/31/2008

The MOST bus links the navigation system to the MMI Infotainment.

The Navigation System with CD Drive Control Module -J401- is located in the luggage compartment. Operation is performed via the Multimedia System Control Head -E380-.

A Chip Card Reader Control Module -J676- is integrated with the Traffic Data Antenna -R173- (charge) and the cell phone preparation.

1. Traffic Data Antenna -R173- at the top center of the windshield
2. Chip Card Reader Control Module -J676- inside the glove compartment
3. Navigation System with CD Drive Control Module -J401- behind luggage compartment left side trim
4. Telephone Transceiver -R36- under the front passenger seat
5. Connector cable for the Cellular Telephone -R54- in the center console storage compartment
6. Microphone Unit in Front Roof Module -R164- (Telephone Microphone -R38-) in the Front Interior Lamp -W1-
7. Front Information Display Control Head Control Module -J523-, behind the instrument panel
8. Front Information Display Control Head -J685- in center of the instrument panel
9. Multimedia System Control Head -E380- in the front of the center console
10. Antenna Amplifier 2 -R111- on the right D-pillar
11. Radio/Telephone/Navigation System Antenna -R52-
