Diagnostic Overview 

Diagnostics in this article assume a certain skill level and knowledge of Ford-specific diagnostic practices. Refer to Diagnostic Methods in Service Information for information about these practices.

Normal Operation and Fault Conditions 

The APIM ACM, FCDIM, andFCIM communicate with the IPC through the I-CAN.

DTC Fault Trigger Conditions 

DTC Description Fault Trigger Conditions
U0155:00 Lost Communication With Instrument Panel Cluster (IPC) Control Module: No Sub Type Information Set by the ACM, APIM, FCDIM, and FCIM when network messages are missing from the IPC for more than 5 seconds with the ignition in RUN.
