Navigation System Overview, Through 10/31/2008

The optical MOST bus links the navigation system into the MMI Infotainment.

The navigation system is available from equipment version "MMI basic plus Navigation".

With the "MMI basic plus Navigation" version, the Navigation System with CD Drive Control Module -J401- is located in the glove compartment and contains the Radio -R- and the Front Information Display Control Head Control Module -J523-.

In the "MMI" version, the Navigation System with CD Drive Control Module -J401- is located in the left rear of the luggage compartment.

All versions are operated via the Multimedia Control Head -E380-.
