Windshield Defogger Control Module -J505-, REMOVING AND INSTALLING: Removing

-- Disconnect the ground cable from the battery with the ignition switched off, refer to BATTERY, DISCONNECTING AND CONNECTING .

-- Remove the spare tire well trim, refer to LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM PANELS .

-- If equipped remove the control module cover.

-- Release and open the cover -B- and mark the wire -C- so that it can be installed again later.

-- Remove the nuts, and remove the wire.

-- Disconnect the connector -D-.

-- Loosen the threaded connection and remove the control module -A- upward from the bracket.

-- Remove the control module.
