Air Ionization System Control Module -J897-, REMOVING AND INSTALLING: Notes

NOTE:

The air ionization system is only provided in vehicles with a Rear A/C Display Control Head -E265- and only planned for market specific vehicles.

The Air Ionization System Button -E677- and the Air Ionization System Control Module -J897- are always installed in the B-pillar behind the front passenger seat (in vehicles with steering on the left side in the right B-pillar).

Odors in the air flowing by are neutralized at ionizer -D-.

In the case of vehicles without an Air Ionization System Control Module -J897-, seal the installation opening in air duct -F- in an air-tight manner, for example with adhesive tape.
