2ND Generation MMI Basic Components

The Navigation System Has Many Control Modules Which Are Interlinked With The Individual Vehicle Systems. These Control Modules Communicate With Each Other Via The Different Bus Versions. The Data Bus On Board Diagnostic Interface -J533-, Which Is Connected To All The Different Bus Versions, Processes The Data And Sends It To The Control Module.

NOTE:

Manual Transmission Vehicles Also Have A Vehicle Electrical System Control Module -J519- And A Transmission Range Gear Recognition Switch -F208- Which Recognize The Drive Direction. Automatic Transmission Vehicles Have A Multifunction Switch -F125- And A Transmission Control Module -J217- Which Recognize The Drive Direction.

NOTE:

AWD Vehicles Have Two Extra Sensors, The Right Rear ABS Wheel Speed Sensor -G44- And The Left Rear ABS Wheel Speed Sensor -G46-.
