Overview - Navigation System

The navigation system is available as an MMI option.

The navigation system is part of the Information Electronics Control Module 1 -J794- inside the instrument panel.

Operation is performed via the Multimedia System Control Head -E380-.

Navigation data is stored on an internal hard drive disc (HDD) on the MMI with maximum features.

  1. Roof Antenna -R216-
  2. Front Information Display Control Head -J685- in center of the instrument panel
  3. Information Electronics Control Module 1 -J794- inside the instrument panel
  4. Multimedia System Control Head -E380- in the center console
  5. Data Bus On Board Diagnostic Interface -J533- Behind the Glove Compartment On the Left Side
  6. MOST Bus
  7. Radio -R- behind the left luggage compartment trim panel
  8. Digital Sound System Control Module -J525- behind the left luggage compartment trim panel
  9. CD Changer -R41- /External Audio Source Connection -R199- (interface) in the glove compartment
  10. External Audio Source Connection -R199- (AUX IN jack) in the center console storage compartment

  11. Microphone Unit in Front Roof Module -R164- (Right Front Microphone -R141-) in the Front Interior Lamp -W1-

Perform the Fault Finding with the Vehicle Diagnostic Tester.

Antenna wires, repairing, refer to ANTENNA WIRES, REPAIRING .
