Rearview Camera System: Removing

The rear view camera is equipped with a trailing cable. The vehicle wiring harness couplings are located in the rear lid.

-- Remove trunk lid trim. .

-- Remove screw -1- (4 Nm).

-- Remove retaining plate -3-.

The rear view camera -2- is secured to handle trim.

-- Remove rear view camera -2- with a suitable tool from the grip piece.

-- Disconnect connectors -1- and -2- and remove rear view camera from rear lid.
