Knock Sensor, Removing And Installing: Removing

WARNING:

Fuel system is under high pressure! Before opening high pressure components of the fuel injection system, pressure must be relieved to residual pressure. Refer to RELEASING PRESSURE IN HIGH PRESSURE AREA .
Then wrap a clean cloth around the connection and relieve residual pressure by carefully loosening the connection.
Always follow the instructions when disconnecting the battery. Refer to BATTERY, DISCONNECTING AND CONNECTING .

4 - Knock Sensor 1 -G61-

NOTE:

Remove fuel injector 2 to reach the bolt for the Knock Sensor 1 -G61- -4-.

-- Remove the lower right intake manifold section with the fuel rail. Refer to INTAKE MANIFOLD LOWER SECTION WITH FUEL RAIL, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

5 - Knock Sensor 2 -G66-

NOTE:

Remove fuel injector 5 to reach the bolt for the Knock Sensor 2 -G66- -5-.

-- Remove the each intake manifold lower section with the fuel rail. Refer to INTAKE MANIFOLD LOWER SECTION WITH FUEL RAIL, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
