Lock Cylinder, Removing And Installing: Installing

Fig 1: Identifying Lock Cylinder Housing -1-, Door Handle -2-, Bracket -3- And Bolts -5 To 6-

-- Remove the door handle -2- from the door.

-- Insert the lock cylinder housing -1- into the mounting bracket -3- at a right angle.

-- Install the bolts -5 and 6- into the mounting bracket.

-- Tightening specification for bolts -5 and 6- : 3.5 Nm

NOTE:

The lock cylinder housing must be pressed onto the outer door panel while installing.

Installation is performed in reverse order of the removal.

Then, always perform a function test with door opened.
