Bracket, Removing And Installing: Removing

-- Remove the front door trim. Refer to Front Door Trim Panels .

-- Remove the subframe. Refer to SUBFRAME, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Remove the lock cylinder or the cap. Refer to LOCK CYLINDER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING and REMOVING .

-- Remove the door handle. Refer to DOOR HANDLE, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Remove the screws -2-.

-- Remove the bolts -6-.

-- Remove the bracket -1- together with the lock -5- from the door.

-- Release the latching mechanisms in the retaining bracket -3- in direction of -arrow a-.

-- Remove the mounting bracket -1- from the retaining bracket -3- in direction of -arrow b-.

Detach the Release Cable

-- Release the retainer -2- and swivel it out of the mount in the mounting bracket in direction of -arrow c-.

-- Lift the pin for the control cable out of the mount in direction of -arrow d-.
