DTC C1137: Reverse Gear Switch

Failure	Action
23	This DTC sets if the reverse gear message from the TCM shows "not engaged" when other sensor input shows the vehicle is moving in reverse. RETRIEVE and DIAGNOSE all TCM DTCs. REFER to the AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION - 10-SPEED AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION - 10R80 (2 OF 2) . If the diagnostic scan tool cannot communicate with the TCM, REFER to MODULE COMMUNICATIONS NETWORK (2 OF 2) . If there are no DTCs in the TCM, the condition may be caused by an intermittent concern. SET the ignition to OFF. DISCONNECT and INSPECT all TCM electrical connectors for corrosion, bent pins, pushed-out pins and spread terminals. REPAIR as necessary.
