Transmission Input Speed Sensor, Checking

NOTE:
  • The Transmission Input Speed (RPM) Sensor G182 is a component of the Mechatronic unit in the transmission and cannot be serviced individually.

If the electrical harness connector is not OK:

If the electrical harness connector is OK:

If no malfunctions are found in the wiring:

Final procedures 

  1. Check the DTC memory.
  2. If necessary, erase the DTC memory. Refer to Diagnostic Mode 04 - Erase DTC Memory .
  3. If the DTC memory was erased, generate readiness code. Refer to Readiness Code .
