Front Caliper, Ceramic, Repositioning: Installing
Always use new caliper bolts. Refer to the Parts.
-- Carefully press the brake caliper with the brake carrier and the brake pads installed over the brake rotor.
Always use new caliper bolts -1-. Refer to the Parts.
-- Tighten the new brake caliper bolts -3- to 196 Nm.
-- Install the brake hose into the bracket on the pivot bearing.
-- Attach the brake pad wear wire -12-.
NOTE:
After installing a brake caliper, press the brake pedal several times firmly to properly seat the brake pads in their normal operating position.
-- Install the wheels.
Torque specification for wheel bolts WHEEL BOLT TIGHTENING SPECIFICATIONS
-- Lower vehicle.
CAUTION:
Make sure the brakes are working correctly before driving the vehicle for the first time.
