Heated Windshield Control Module, Removing and Installing

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

Removing

NOTE:

All cable ties opened or cut during engine removal must be reinstalled at the same locations during installation.
If the control module was replaced, select the "Replace" function for the respective control module in "Guided Fault Finding" or "Guided Functions".
Remove battery → Battery, Removing and Installing .

Lift clip - arrow - with Pry lever 80 - 200.
Remove bolt - 3 - at ground connection.
Remove nut - 2 -.
Loosen nut - 1 - one turn and remove Heated Windshield Control Module J505 with wires connected.

Installing

Install in reverse order of removal, observing the following:

Ground wire to body	9.5
Electrical wire to fuse holder	7.5
