ESP Sensor Unit -G419-, REMOVING AND INSTALLING: Installing
Never force the ESP Sensor Unit -G419- into position using nuts.
-- Install in reverse order of removal.
When installing ESP-sensor unit make sure it is correctly seated in its bracket and is free of stress.
-- Tighten the nuts to 8 Nm.
-- Install the airbag control module. Refer to Airbag Control Module -J234-, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
Follow safety precautions for working with an Airbag.
-- Install the center console CENTER CONSOLE, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
-- Perform basic setting for Transverse Acceleration Sensor -G200-, Rotation Rate Sensor -G202- and Longitudinal Acceleration Sensor -G251-.
Connect Vehicle Diagnostic Tester.
If the ESP sensor unit was replaced select "Guided Functions ". Refer to Vehicle Diagnostic Tester, CONNECTING AND SELECTION FUNCTIONS .
